IIRC HAMA can also pull metadata from different sources like AniDB, TheTVDB and TheMovieDB. I mean, you could still organize it with season folders but this will end up with season 2+ not having any episode metadata. With the MyAnimeList Agent, this has to beįor the agent to be able to pull the correct metadata for that series and its episodes. That means that you can have in HAMA a structure like ![]() That means that each Anime, even if it is the 2nd season, will be counted as its own release and therefore has to be its own item/folder in your library. ![]() The MyAnimeList Agent expects you to organize your Anime according to how MyAnimeList organizes it. ![]() HAMA gives you a lot of options to configure it but IMO this makes it overly complex which I tried to prevent with my agent.įor example, with HAMA you can either use TheTVDB organization (one item with multiple seasons) but you can also use absolute ordering. HAMA does a lot of stuff behind the scenes that the MyAnimeList Agent does not.
